Now that you have invested in your health by getting a much needed massage, here are a few tips for self care post massage:
- Plan ahead. Make sure the rest of your day or evening is low key and stress free.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol for the next 12 to 24 hours. Stay well hydrated.
- Take a soothing Epsom salt bath. Place 1cup of Epsom salts in tub of hot water. Soak for approximately 20 just before bed.
For added benefit, place salt in glass jar. Add 5 to 10 drops of pure lavender essential oil. Shake intermittently for 10 minutes. Add to hot water. Enjoy!
- Drink two glasses of water; one room temperature and one cool right after Epsom salt bath.
